Just like his big brother Bryce, Grady has been born with beautiful dark hair. Every day I check if it’s starting to fall out. I have my fingers crossed that it stays.
Merry Christmas Everyone! Hope your day was wonderful!
Ours started early (surprise) Rowan was up and about, but didn’t notice Santa had been! Soon we had everyone on the bed, opening gifts. At our house, the big man brings one big gift for the family. This year it was a Wii. No prizes for guessing what wii (hehe) did all morning.
Lunch was at Grandma and Grandpa’s place. Santa must have sent Grandma a letter, or called her and let her know – because she had Wii games for the kids and we’d luckily brought it along with us. So we continued to Wii all afternoon.
Grady had a great time being held, Great Grandma had him for he longest time (I think he was making her legs numb though). Then we were off to Uncle Wes & Aunty Marion’s house for dinner. More holding for the Grady monster, more present opening for the big boys, especially Rowan, who had appointed himself Grady present opener.
After a quick wander to see the Christmas Lights we were on our way home.
Prepare yourself for a photo heavy post – we’ve been waiting forever for this little man to show his face!
Grady Anton Vincent arrived at 12.31pm on December 16th 2009. A whopping 10lb 14oz, 4.96kg.
First question from almost 6yo Bryce upon meeting his new brother… “So, can we have another one now?” (he’s keen for a sister).
3.5yo Rowan “(squeal, hand over mouth) he’s SO cute!” Followed by “We have a bay-bee!”.
We’re home and settling in. Biggest concern at the moment is keeping over keen brothers from picking up or carrying Grady.
This post includes photos from Days 1 – 6, I will be continuing with a photo-a-day of Grady for at least his first 30 days. This will overlap with the annual January P-A-D Challenge, so the blog shall be active!
