A great evening out. We met friends – Gaby, Stu, Bailey and Jade – in St Kilda, where it was blowing a gale! The kids braved the freezing water, but not for long. A stroll to the Felafel Kitchen for me (who could resist??), next door to Clamms for the rest of the group (don’t know what good food is!) and then…. mmmm…. yum…. drooling just thinking about it…. Chocolateria San Churros – long skinny spanish donuts, that come with dipping chocolate (your choice of white, milk or dark, mmmm).
An enjoyable evening? You bet! And a big shout out about the staff at Clamms Fast Fish for thoroughly entertaining my boys – throwing snowballs at them (glass between), squirting with the hose, and generally being great sports about a couple of kids who thought cleaning the display ice was of great interest!!
Burning all night (he slept in our bed) Rowan woke every hour or so to complain and have a cuddle. Refusing water the whole time – bribes of being allowed soft drink today did work eventually.
Oh, and by the way, I win all awards for filthiest children!
